Who is Mike Titan?

I'm Mike Titan, founder of Titan Seeds, a cannabis cultivator and writer. My journey began in a small Ohio town, where I developed a love for nature and plants. As a teenager, I became captivated by movies and dreamed of working in Hollywood.

How did your journey begin?

After high school, I moved to Los Angeles, taking odd jobs while pursuing film industry opportunities. My persistence paid off when I became a runner for a major studio, eventually working as a production assistant on big-budget films. This experience taught me dedication, organization, and attention to detail.

What led you to start Titan Seeds?

Despite my success in Hollywood, my heart remained with nature. An unexpected inheritance from a distant relative allowed me to purchase land in Northern California and start Titan Seeds. I focus on breeding unique, high-quality strains on a small scale, prioritizing quality over quantity.

How do you manage work with ADHD and autism?

Living with ADHD and autism, I'm naturally shy and prefer working quietly. My constant companion is my dog Soze, named after Keyser Söze from "The Usual Suspects." In the past, I self-published zines featuring movie essays, life poems, and cultivation thoughts. I'm planning to re-release these as ebooks once I figure out the process.

What are your current and future plans?

My dedication to sustainable, small-batch farming has earned Titan Seeds a reputation for exceptional cannabis genetics, at least to people I know and care about. I continue to innovate in my own modest way, focusing on what I love most - cultivating quality cannabis and sharing my passion through writing.

Where can you find me online?

I post cultivation-related content on Twitter and Instagram, and movie reviews on Medium, which has become very therapeutic for me. I enjoy using Reddit, but I struggle to be more active because it can be overwhelming. I would like to get into TikTok, but I worry that I'm too old for it. I'm happy for people to email me at [email protected], but I'm not very good at responding, so sometimes my long-term partner, India, will reply for me.
